The exercise consists of revealing the procedures that led me to the 7 exercises that make up this project. The work consists of 21 paper sheets with drawings and text that will be assembled in 3 rows of 7 each. The first step in this process consisted of rethinking the situations that at some point have generated a sense of timelessness in me.
This exercise consists of designating an area of my house to hold a blank piece of paper. Every night at 00:00 I replace the paper with a new one and put it in a ziplock bag (sometimes) next to an object (or several) and with the date of the day. The sheet represents a receiver that collects the spatial information of each day (date, temperature, geographic location, flow of movement in space, tension in the environment, etc.). The object that is stored next to the sheet provides information on any important eventuality that has occurred outside the space. Finally, what I rescue from this exercise is not the action, let’s call it a secret performance, which I have carried out throughout all this time, but the archive, which will be arranged in a structure composed of 7 rings that get bigger as it progresses, this structure resembles the Hadron Collider but also a CRT TV set.
This exercise consists of the interpretation of “premonitory” images through an ink drawing in which the colors (red and blue) will be superimposed. Upon entering the exhibition, the option of receiving lenses with a red or blue filter will be presented, which will serve to see the drawing and block all the ink of the chosen color.
The exercise consists of keeping a record of all the two-option decisions that can lead to relevant results. Each pair of options, along with the decision made, will be written in a post-it. At the end of the exercise, the post-its will be presented as a timeline where each one will be placed slightly above or below the previous one, depending on the decision made.
