Fernando is a visual artist and graphic designer. He studied art at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. His artistic practice is built from revisiting images of social and family circulation, and mostly linked to a working class experience. His work explores how personal and family histories intertwine with collective histories, seeking to understand how one’s own experience can reflect a common narrative.
He has been a finalist for the Third ICPNA Contemporary Art Award (2020). His work has been exhibited in Colaboración eficaz, Laboraleatorio (2019); Noche de videos 2, Sala Luis Miró Quesada Garland (2017); 35 Salón Nacional de Grabado, ICPNA (2016), among others.
